With the release of his latest book, “How to Sketch With Black Hardcovers,” author and illustrator Charles Schulz offers a glimpse into the art of black-and-white drawing, illustrating how to draw with black paper.
The book is currently available for pre-order.
The book is available in two formats: a book-sized black hardback book and a book for larger sizes.
The format of the book is similar to the format of “The Artist’s Notebook” which was published in 1994.
In “The Art of Black Hardback Drawing,” Charles Schutz takes the viewer through the process of creating black- and white illustrations using black ink, charcoal, and watercolor ink.
Schulz has worked with the artist, William Carlos Williams, for many years, and also used to draw in a variety of styles and colors.
Schulzes book is based on Williams’ own drawings, which have been collected in “The Black Artist’s Illustrated Sketchbook,” which was released in 1995.
The collection includes the work of the artist and other artists.
Schutz writes, “The black-color drawing style is the one I’ve found most useful for my work.
…
I love that it’s a style that has its roots in the history of the black artist.
I find the process to be both creative and fun.”
The book has been a huge success.
It sold more than 1.6 million copies in its first week of sales.
